I'm not a big fan of this place in comparison to other frozen yogurt places. The staff is relatively unfriendly and when the employee emerged from the bathroom his clothes were covered in wet spots. he also seemed to be constantly distracted and unsocial. It is a good location, however, it is very cramped and doesn't feel up-to-par with other frozen yogurt places. It still is great for kids, but overall it lacks a sense of friendliness I'd like to see. The employee seemed to lack cleanliness and hygiene

You know how there is a "lemon law" for cars? I can't help thinking it might be useful to have one for businesses as well. I was a regular customer of the prior frozen yogurt shop in this location, Yotopit, and my experience went something like this: 1) Business opens -- yay! 2) Business closes without warning and with no posted signs telling customers what happened -- boo! 3) Turns out business was just closed for remodeling and reopens with more machines-- yay! 4) Business is never the same. The new machines never work properly and things go downhill. 5) Business closes permanently, but is then resurrected with new ownership and a new name. I've been rooting for this business because it serves YoCream, appears to be family-owned and local, but I am afraid we may be in a repeating cycle. The "new" machines put in by the prior owner still seem to be an issue. There have been "we apologize for the delay/mess" signs, but not much forward progress and this is going on months. There is also a fancy, high-end yogurt shop, Crave, that opened down the hill this summer. As is typical when you have more than one child, one of mine prefers Mountain Toppers and the other Crave. So as a patron of both, I will lay out a couple of direct comparisons: 1) Crave offers a more pleasant environment with spacious indoor and outdoor seating if you stay and eat. 2) Mountain Toppers serves Oregon's own YoCream and Crave serves Honey Hill Farms out of Virginia. 3) Crave has 3 to 4 times the frozen yogurt flavors and it seems like they also have more toppings. 4) Crave is $.43/oz and Crave is $.47/oz. 5) Both offer punch card/frequent buyer deals. Mountain Toppers regularly offers BOGO coupons in the BuyLocalOnly Magazine delivered to residents and also say they will accept local competitors coupons in West Linn and Lake O. So Mountain Toppers feels like the scrappy underdog in the frozen yogurt fight, but I'm still hoping they make a long-term go of this venture.

Sigh....I was so excited to hit up the fro-yo scene this afternoon and then... The main guy at the counter, older guy....assuming he's the owner, was in such a bad mood. He wasn't pleasant once the entire time we were there. He had this, "Why are you here ruining my day" vibe. Pretty sure he hates his job. Plus, he has a bumper sticker (on his truck parked right in front blocking the view for outside eating customers) that shows off he loves his 9mm so he could quite possibly just be angry a lot. Then, his 2ish yo kid who was wondering behind the counter started hacking all over the toppings bar with his runny nose which he didn't even blink an eye at. The machines were running a bit warm so they were a tad runny. Great selection of toppings and I'm hoping the ones I chose were snot and saliva free. The place is dirty.....not like is was before under different management. We won't be back. This place used to be a fun spot but I don't feel welcome and I'm not interested in giving money to an establishment who cares so little for my business.

They would have a 5 star review if they were OPEN on a regular basis OR if the staff had any clue about things like birthday parties, hours of operation .... Anything other than what's going on with their smart phones.

Bad service good frozen yogurt. The owner was mean he was telling us we should get less frozen yogurt and less toppings...weird

I didn't want to come here at first because the previous business "Yotopit" was horrible (I know it has nothing to do together but I really had BAD experience then). I sux it up and went for it today, yogurt is yogurt, not sure how to review it but the service was good. No loud music, nor disrespectful/lazy employees... My new hang out. :)

I don't go here anymore! Last time I came it was really messy and cluttered in the store. I looked around for sample cups, finally saw some little Dixie cups by the yogurt machines and figured those must be them! Went to grab one and the owner barked at me that those were water cups, not to be used for yogurt!!!! sheesh!! I don't care! Just make it clear what to use! I think they would go far to hire some cheerful/friendly employees.

We used to come here all the time. We were pretty consistent customers, especially in the summer. But when we started going somewhere else, we realized that this place was awful. My friend got peanut butter on hers. It's pure, natural peanut butter (not the oily sauces most places have), but it had been sitting in the tub so long, it had coagulated into a lump that dropped onto her yogurt and made her sick. Gosh knows how long it has been sitting there in the tub on the counter. Lots of high school workers who are doing homework, or on their phone/laptop that clearly don't want to be there. At one point, I said to the owner that I noticed sometimes one flavor was sour, sometimes it was fine. He revealed to me that this is probably because his workers weren't properly cleaning out the machines at the end of the day and it was sour because the yogurt had sat at the bottom and turned sour, so when they made a new batch, it made it taste off. I think it was then that we started going some place else. We won't be back.

10 or so flavors, all good. Average topping bar. Has mostly everything you'd need. Staff was friendly. Small, but colorful and comfortable interior. Outdoor seating. Expensive -- on par with Crave at $0.47/oz. Did not interact with the owner, as he only came to close shop.

About a month ago, I made a visit with the family for a treat, witnessed a young male employee eating out of the topping bins...gross. Tonight however 'topped' the grossness. Young female employee took cash from two customers (myself included), while our family sat to eat, I watched her turn straight to the topping area with unwashed hand,s and dig through the M&M's and Reese's Pieces with bare hands! Then eat items, not once, but twice with bare hands in the containers. Not to mention the yogurt machines had gross rags collecting the spilled yogurt in the trays. Sufficiently disgusted by this blatant unsanitary behavior, and will not be back.

Poor service. The owner never smiles, and always act like his customers are a pain in the butt! One time the machine wasn't working, and he rolled his eyes and walked over and said, "there, now it works". We MUCH prefer Crave, which is just down the road.
